Now you can have your cake and stay healthy too!
I first stumbled upon this recipe on pinterest on a fantastic blog called eatyourselfskinny.com, a blog I highly recommend for finding great, healthy recipes, but I’d like to share it with you on my blog too.
For anyone who loves the taste of Funfetti or wants to relive dunkaroos, this is a healthier option (though you never would guess it by tasting it!) I made this dip on vacation and fed it to a house full of healthy-food-repellant-males without mentioning the words “low calorie”, “low fat”, or “healthy” and they inhaled it. Just a warning though, this dip is addicting so if you’re trying to keep yourself at one serving I highly recommend measuring out one (or two… come on, with nutrition facts like these you can afford it!) serving size into a personal bowl.
1 box Funfetti cake mix
2 cups fat-free vanilla yogurt (the original recipe calls for plain, I found this to leave a little bit of a tangy aftertaste and preferred the taste using vanilla fat free yogurt)
1 cup lite cool whip
Animal crackers for dipping (I use Stauffer’s animal crackers as that’s all I’m able to find at my grocery store, but there are some fat-free options out there that would make a healthier choice!)
And that’s it! Mix your first three ingredients together until they’re all combined, cover and chill in the fridge until cold, and serve with animal crackers. You won’t be disappointed! 🙂
